Thelonious Research
Ask the cross-border question. Get an answer built on entries a lawyer has signed off.
Licensed per seat, per month. We give you the figure on the call, in writing, with no obligation.
Verified. And private.
Legal teams can’t use intelligence they can’t defend, or a platform they can’t clear with IT.
Nothing to install
It runs in the browser — no installation, and nothing for your IT team to approve first.
Encrypted
Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and access is controlled per seat.
Code at every sign-in
Every sign-in is protected by a verification code sent to your email.
Not used for training
We don’t train our own AI model, and Google doesn’t use your Research questions to train its models.
Before you book
How pricing works.
How is Thelonious priced?
Thelonious is licensed per seat, with a monthly fee for each seat. Every seat includes full access to the core platform: live monitoring across every jurisdiction we cover, your intelligence dashboard and alerts, and Thelonious Research at no additional cost.
We are also developing specialist modules that you will be able to add to your subscription for an additional fee. They are entirely optional — the core platform is complete without them. Firm-wide and multi-seat arrangements are agreed directly. We will give you the figure on the demo call, in writing, with no obligation.
How long does it take to get started?
Same day. Thelonious runs in the browser — there is no installation, no IT project and nothing for your firm’s systems team to approve first. Once your licence is in place, seats are issued and you can be monitoring your jurisdictions that afternoon.
Can I rely on this for client advice?
Thelonious is a monitoring and research tool. It does not provide legal advice of any kind, and using it does not create a solicitor–client relationship with us.
What it does is get you to the primary source faster, tell you what has moved and when, and give you a verified summary you can check in seconds. The judgement stays yours.
